OR11 Developers Challenge Information

The JISC funded DevCSI project, managed by UKOLN is proud to announce that it is again organising the Open Repositories Developer Challenge at the Sixth International Conference on Open Repositories in Austin, Texas - Open Repositories 2011 (#or11dev #devcsi). Microsoft Research are kindly sponsoring this year's challenge.

The Challenge is:

Show us the future of repositories

There are two addtional prizes, one for the most innovative use of the SWORD protocol and one for the most innovative use of Microsoft Technology.

Deadline for entry will be Thursday 9th June 2011, at 3pm (GMT – 5)

You will be required to present your entry to an audience on Thursday 9th June between 4.30 – 5.30pm (GMT – 5)

You can enter yourself or your team using this Crowdvine site by adding your entry to the crowdvine discussion.

This crowdvine discussion is for:

* Expressions of interest in submitting a challenge
* Getting interest in your entry
* Getting feedback and advice about your entry

If you are entering the challenge, remember to you are welcome to use the Developer Lounge at the conference venue.

The “Developer Lounge” will be in the Carillon Private Dining rooms 1&2 at the conference venue, just follow the ‘Developer Lounge Footsteps’. The lounge will be available from: Tuesday 7th June to Thursday 9th June 2011 (3pm). The lounge opens each day at 10am and closes at 10pm. On the final day, Thursday, it will close at 3pm.
